How is Iron Kettle different from other tea brands?
We started Iron Kettle with the primary objective of working with small tea growers across India and Nepal. With industry veterans leading the team, there is a focussed effort to take agronomy practices and innovation to farmers, to help them improve cultivation and plucking, and consequently, earn better prices for the green leaf. Because we work with small tea growers, we are able to obtain a better quality of leaf, measured by the fine leaf count. This naturally translates to a high quality of tea.
What is a Fine Leaf Count? Why does it matter?
How a leaf is plucked has a direct impact on the quality of the tea. The Fine Leaf Count is the measure of the volume of leaves and bud in the plucked tea. Higher the count, better the tea. At Iron Kettle, we maintain a minimum 70% FLC. This has set the benchmark for our tea quality. It has also allowed our farmers to earn higher prices.
What is the shelf life of your teas?
The average shelf life is 2 years for any tea, stored preferably in a airtight container, away from sunlight and strong smelling condiments.
How many cups of tea can I make from 100g of tea?
At 2.5-3 g of tea per cup, you can make 30-40 cups of tea from 100g.

Yes, of course.
How will I know if an order has been shipped or is out for delivery?

We will send you an email informing you of your order status, on confirmation, shipping and delivery.
My order did not arrive. Can I get a refund?

The tea arrived but was damaged. Can I get a refund?

Can I make changes to my order? Can I cancel my order partially?

How long does it take for a refund to be processed?
Refunds take 3-4 working days.
